TRANQUILITY

"Helping our aging population with life's challenges"

Breckinridge Memorial's Tranquility program provides:

  • Group, individual and family counseling
  • Transportation and a noon meal during treatment day
  • Coordinates individual's care with their primary physician

Tranquility is specialized care with a staff that includes a Board certified Psychiatrist, a Licensed Social Worker and a Registered Nurse.

Other services include Client and Family Education and Referral Services.

Each individual will receive intensive treatment in an outpatient setting for three to five hours a day, up to four days a week.

Who Qualifies?

Individuals 65 years and older who are struggling with:

> Decreased ability to cope with change

> Inability to adjust to retirement

> Loss and Grief

> Depressed mood

> Difficulty coping with health/physical changes

> Difficulty concentrating

> Sleep or appetite changes

> Anger

> Feelings of hopelessness or helplessness

> Anxiety, nervousness

> Isolation, loneliness or social withdrawal
