If you have any metallic objects such as metal clips, pacemakers, implants in the eye or have ever had pieces of metal in the eye or other parts of the body, please tell your physician as they may not be able to perform the exam.

If you are claustrophobic or have some anxiety, please notify your physician before scheduling the exam.  Your physician can prescribe something mile to relax you before the exam.

Be assured the machine is open at one end, well ventilated, well lit and the technologist can hear and talk with your from the control room by intercom.
