Breckinridge Memorial's Emergency Department is one of the finest in the area. Open 24 hours a day and staffed with an emergency room physician, nurses and technicians,
we provide emergency and urgent care to people in and around Breckinridge County.
Follow the signs to the entrance to the ER department off Highway 60. The staff of the emergency department is trained in CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Emergency and life threatening situations can occur at any time; for this reason we have a physician available in house and a well trained staff to assist you should the need arise. There are 15 staff members in addition to the medical staff that provide 24 hour, 365 day a year coverage for you and your family. The department provides 4 trauma
bays and two private rooms. We boast state of the art equipment and offer customers the benefit of the latest technology for the treatment of your illness or injury. We utilize up to date
Laboratory Services and Radiology services
which include Cat Scans and Ultrasound scanning
to meet your needs. The ER also has access to all specialists through a
